Rachael Elliott will work with you to build a programme for time trialling, road racing, track racing, or triathlon. Programmes can be built one-off, or at whatever cadence you desire. We fit around your life, and build programmes based on activities you enjoy, but also offer the fastest improvement.
Our coaches can also design triathlon specific programmes based on the three disciplines.
We also offer an aerodynamic consultancy service as a one-off service, or as part of a coaching programme. "Cheat" your way to more watts by optimising your position.


Swimming
Gwen Kinsey and her husband, Sean, will work with you to optimise your stroke to help you hit the times you want For those new to swimming or perhaps embarking on a triathlon journey, the team can help you to build confidence in the water (whether in the pool or open water) before working on your technique.
The team also use an endless pool to help fine tune performance and optimise aquadynamics.
Running
Run coaching is part of our triathlon offering. The team will build your run training into your triathlon, creating sessions that will help to build your run speed, while also fitting in around your multisport training goals.
The team can also build run-specific programmes which can work around your racing schedule or running club activities, if required.


Who We Are
About perfect cadence performance coaching
Perfect cadence was started by Rachael Elliott and Gwen Kinsey in 2024 when they found themselves paired up for paratriathlon. Rachael is a former elite-level runner who now competes on the bicycle, primarily in time trials. She holds a number of national records and national titles, both on the solo bicycle and the tandem. Gwen is a former elite-level pentathlete who made the switch to triathlon. She is an expert swimmer, always aiming to be out of the water first in triathlon. Both athletes have coached cycling, swimming and running for many years, and love seeing their athletes succeed. Coaching programmes fit around individual athlete goals, and target not just improvement - but also enjoyment to keep athletes engaged and enjoying their training.
